Woman born in Bolton finally given British citizenship after 28 years
 

A woman who was born in the UK has finally been granted British citizenship at the age of 28.
Reyna Khosla, 28, was turned down for jobs, couldn’t vote in the EU referendum and and couldn’t go abroad for seven years after the British government refused to recognise her as a citizen.
The health instructor was born in Bolton, Greater Manchester, to a Danish mum and British dad.
Her mother was scared of being judged after giving birth to her out of wedlock so only named herself on the birth certificate.
