Wigan takeaway owner addresses fears over restaurant plan

A Wigan takeaway owner has moved to alleviate fears that his plans for a new restaurant could cause unwanted disruption to local residents.
Ed Jennings, owner of Thai outlet Siam House in Standish, says fears that his new venture could cause excessive noise pollution and car parking problems, have been blown out of proportion.

Mr Jennings recently submitted proposals to the town hall to expand the Church Street takeaway into a small sit-down restaurant, by knocking through into an empty residential property next door.
