When was the Queen’s coronation, when did Elizabeth become Queen and when will Prince Charles be called King Charles?
 

Queen Elizabeth has been our monarch for 66 years, with the anniversary of her father’s death and her accession to the throne being today, 6 February.
But her coronation didn’t take place for a whole 16 months after she acceded the throne.
King George VI, who was crowned King after his brother Edward VIII abdicated in 1936, died on Wednesday 6 February 1952.
He died in his sleep aged 56 at Sandringham House after suffering from lung cancer.
