Well-known Liverpool city centre homeless spot boarded up
 

A well known Liverpool city centre homeless spot appeared to have been boarded up.
The refuge on Old Hall Street has often provided shelter to rough sleepers, and at one point was home to the city's "friendliest" homeless man, Brian.
Tonight the alcove below the former ECHO building was seen with wooden boards, completely covering the small doorway area.
The whole building is currently undergoing work, following the announcement last January that it was to become a luxury hotel.
