'We've got rats and now we've got feral CATS' - new pests blighting Liverpool streets

The litter epidemic plaguing County ward residents is so bad that feral cats are now roaming the streets, a local councillor has said.
Speaking at a Neighbourhood Select meeting this week, councillor Roy Gladden said litter problems were so bad in his area that rats were no longer the only hungry animals feasting off waste dumped in the roads and alleyways.
The comments were made following a presentation about new ways to store and collect waste in areas with narrow 4ft decrepit alleyways, where many residents don't have wheelie bins.
