'We already have too many takeaways' - residents win fight against food outlet

Plans for a new takeaway off Holderness Road have been rejected as the council raised concerns about noise, smell and traffic.
Proposals to open the new business in New Bridge Road, next door to Pizza Plus, were first submitted last November.
Residents’ objections to the plans have now been heard as Hull City Council chose to reject the takeaway.
