ROY Hodgson said he didn’t want revenge after enduring the shortest managerial reign in Liverpool history – but he must have enjoyed yesterday’s result.

His West Brom captain Chris Brunt fired home two second-half penalties – one given by referee Martin Atkinson, the second by his assistant to cancel out an opener from Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel.

But those two Brunt belters only told a fraction of the story.
