Warning to be vigilant as 13 churches ransacked by lead thieves
 

Communities across East Yorkshire should be "extra vigilant" after 13 churches were targeted by lead thieves.
The warning comes after four churches in the region were attacked by lead thieves in the space of just 10 days in September.
St Peter's in Langtoft, St Mary's in Lockington and St Peter's in Wawne were all seriously damaged by thieves, with an attempt on St Peter's in Hutton Cranswick also resulting in minor damage.
A fifth church, in Sigglesthorne, was also targeted in September.
