Volkswagen's all-electric self-driving bus 'Sedric' that acts as your personal robot chauffeur is headed to production



Volkswagen's radical, self-driving 'school bus' is one step closer to hitting the streets. 
The German automaker announced on Tuesday that the autonomous ride-sharing pod, called Sedric, will soon enter production. 
Sedric, which stands for 'Self Driving Car,' was unveiled by Volkswagen's parent company, Volkswagen Group, at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017. 
The concept car has been hailed by Volkswagen as 'the future of urban mobility.'
