Village in shock as tragic man's body found in canal

Residents living in a quiet East Riding village have revealed their shock and sadness after the body of a man was found in the water of a canal.
Humberside Police have confirmed that a man believed to be in his 60s was found dead in the canal at Rawcliffe Bridge near Goole.
He has not been formally identified but his family have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
His body is thought to have been found near Sugar Mill Ponds – a small fish farm and nature reserve in the East Riding hamlet, which is home to just a few thousand people.
