Vauxhall issue warning on using these cars after reports of problems with braking
 

Vauxhall has issued a warning on some its cars after motorists reported issues with braking.
The company is asking for owners of manual Astras with a 1.6 Diesel engine to get in touch after receiving reports that some were having issues where the car was taking longer to brake and the brakes weren’t as sharp.
This only applies to the vehicles built between 2016 and 2018 - but at least one Lincoln woman is known to have been affected.
As a result of the concerns, Vauxhall’s head of customer care, Christopher Woolsey has sent a letter to all customers affected by the recall.
