UK snow WARNING: 'A REAL RISK TO LIFE' as Met Office warn Scotland of DEEP-FREEZE danger
 

The Met Office issued a red warning for extreme weather in Scotland, as a second day of snow causes mass disruption across the entire UK.
The red alert covers the central belt, from Edinburgh to Glasgow, from 15.00 GMT, meaning a risk to life is likely.
It is the first time the Met Office has issued a red snow warning for Scotland.
Sky News correspondent Emma Birchley said: “There has been huge effects from the snow across so much of the UK.
