Two men in court accused of killing Whitley Bay teen by dangerous driving

Two men have appeared in court accused of killing a popular Whitley Bay teenager by dangerous driving.
Harry Cable and Joshua Cherukara are alleged to have caused the death of William Dorey, who was knocked over by a car on May 7 last year.
The accident happened on the A193 The Links, in Whitley Bay, shortly before 10pm.
Cable, 18, of Denholm, in the town, is accused of causing Mr Dorey’s death by dangerous driving in a Vauxhall Corse, while Cherukara, 20, is alleged to have killed the teen by dangerous driving in a Renault Megane.
