Two ambulances attacked with bricks in Birchfield Road, Aston - as they take the same patient to hospital

Police are hunting thugs who threw bricks at passing ambulances twice in the space of a few minutes.
Incredibly, the same patient was caught up in both attacks.
The patient was being rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties when the first ambulance was attacked as it travelled through an underpass in Birchfield Road, Aston, at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Its windscreen was damaged and a replacement was called, delaying treatment by around ten minutes.
But the second ambulance was also hit by a brick at the same location at around 3pm.
