Tourists endure -7C snowstorm in T-Shirts and tracksuit bottoms after JFK luggage blunder
 

British holidaymakers have been forced to endure freezing bomb cyclone weather in tracksuit bottoms and T-Shirts after their suitcases were lost at New York’s JFK airport.
Matt and Craig Jones, 32, were among those underdressed for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the record-breakingly cold city after they spent six hours unsuccessfully searching for their luggage.
Horrendous winter weather caused by a rare ‘bomb cyclone’ of heavy snow, high-winds and -7C temperatures have caused widespread delays, diversions and a substantial baggage-handling backlog that has crippled the airport.
