Tory minister to give Conservative conference speech as Tupac-style hologram
 

The first political speech given by a ministerial hologram could happen at this year’s Conservative Party conference in Birmingham.
Culture secretary Jeremy Wright is hoping to emulate Tupac, Michael Jackson and Roy Orbison and create a virtual version of himself.
The hologram plans come after Tory party chairman Brandon Lewis said he wanted the annual event to be ‘less boring and corporate’.
Matt Hancock, who was promoted to health secretary in last month’s reshuffle, was keen on giving a speech in hologram form while he was culture secretary, but it never happened.
