This is how the funeral fund is changing for those on benefits

Ministers have unveiled changes they say will make it easier and simpler for people on benefits to get help with funeral expenses.
The Social Fund Funeral Expenses Payments scheme gives people on qualifying benefits funds for burial and cremation fees, as well as up to £700 for things such as flowers and a coffin.
In a written statement to Parliament, welfare minister Kit Malthouse said claimants will now be able to get contributions from charities, relatives or friends without them being deducted from the overall sum payable towards funeral costs.
