Thirsty burglar left Lucozade bottle with his DNA on at scene of crime

A thief who left a bottle of Lucozade he drank from at the scene of a house burglary was caught after scientists found his DNA on it, a court heard.
Raymond Abbott-Moore, 30, admitted breaking into a married couple's home in Erdyngton Road, Braunstone, Leicester, on June 4, when a laptop computer, a mobile phone with charger, DVDs and a box of coins were stolen.
Leicester Crown Court was told the householders returned to find their front door was jammed and when they eventually got inside they discovered they had been broken into.
