Take flight! New Japan Airlines employees release 1,639 paper airplanes to celebrate new roles



Newly-hired employees of Japan Airlines were all smiles as they threw paper airplanes to celebrate their new careers.
The initiation ceremony place at a hangar in the Haneda Airport and even included an appearance by the group's new president Yuji Akasaka.
Over 1,600 people were in attendance from 33 companies within the Japan Airlines group.  
This year's annual initiation ceremony is the first for Japan Airlines' new president, 56-year-old Yuji Akasaka.
