These revolting images show why a popular Liverpool City Centre bar and restaurant was hit with a staggering £53,000 fine.
Stonegate Pub Company, the owners of Yates' in Queens Square received the huge punishment after council health inspectors found it failed to keep its kitchen clean or keep pests under control.
The pub firm admitted two food hygiene offences at Liverpool Magistrates Court after inspectors found these filthy conditions at the popular venue.
