Moments after contesting the biggest match of his career at the Australian Open in January, Stefanos Tsitsipas arrived for his press conference and sat demoralised in his chair. He was broken. He had come all the way to his first slam semi-final, beating his hero Roger Federer on the way, only to be demolished 6-2, 6-4, 6-0 by Rafael Nadal.
