Sportsman in remission from leukaemia takes on London to Paris bike ride
 

A KEEN sportsman in remission from leukaemia is getting back in the saddle by undertaking a bike ride from London to Paris.
Mark Nicholas from Kenilworth was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia in 2016 and had to undergo a life-saving stem cell transplant after a donor was found in Germany.
But before the operation, the freelance IT consultant took on a 100-mile bike ride for Cure Leukaemia, which helped with his recovery.
Now, the 48-year-old Kenilworth Pirates rugby player is in remission and is celebrating by getting back on his bike to raise more money for the charity.
