Spain struggling to deal with escalating migration crisis
 

Spain’s maritime rescue service has saved 366 people trying to cross the Mediterranean into Europe just this weekend amid growing concerns that the country is struggling to cope with the migration crisis.
The service said its crews had rescued 293 people from nine boats on Saturday and another 73 from four boats on Sunday.
On a single day in August last year, Spanish rescuers saved 593 people from 15 small paddle boats – including 35 children and a baby – after they attempted to cross the seven-mile Strait of Gibraltar.
