South Tyneside braced for stormy Sunday
 

WEATHER experts are predicting South Tynesiders won't feel the wrath of the remnants of Hurricane Bertha.
The tail-end of the storm, which is heading across the Atlantic towards Europe, is expected to hit England tomorrow.
The Met Office has also issued the borough with a severe weather warning for rain, which will remain in place until 11.45pm tomorrow.
However, Liz Martin, 32, who runs South Tyne Weather from her garden in Primrose, Jarrow, is confident the storm won’t be that bad.
