Hang on tight, this could be a wild one.
After a good morning soak, the 147th Open simmered nicely to set up what should be a brilliant weekend at Carnoustie. We lost the World Numbers One and Two to the cut, but three of the last four Open champions are within reach, while some rising stars, home hopes and even a few reclamation jobs have a realistic chance of the Claret Jug.
