Shop worker saw 'flash' and ran for cover as yob opened fire with handgun

A shopworker said she saw a ‘bright flash’ and then heard a loud bang as she ran for cover when a yob opened fire with a handgun in the street.
The woman, who asked not be named, was working in a convenience store on Sefton Road in Litherland when there was a shooting outside.
Police believe a handgun was fired at an ‘unknown person’ who was stood outside the shop, although there have been no reports of any injuries or damage. The incident happened outside a parade of shops on Sefton Road at around 8.30pm on Monday night.
