Schoolboy hit by car outside Sutton Coldfield school

A schoolboy has suffered a suspected fracture after a collision with a car near a Sutton Coldfield secondary school.
The youngster, believed to be aged 11, was struck by a car in Fairfax Road shortly before 8am on Wednesday (May 16).
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance to the scene.
A spokesman for the service said: “We were called to an accident involving a child and a car near Fairfax high school in Fairfax Road in Sutton Trinity.
