School meals in Hull set to soar with eye-watering 200 per cent increase say council
 

School meals in Hull are set for yet another price hike in the new year.
Having increased from 50p to £1 in January, the cost of dinners will jump to £1.50 after the Christmas holidays - an overall 200 per cent rise since December 2018.
Lib Dem councillor Linda Tock has raised concern over the increase and said families should not have to pay for the government's failings.
