Rugby player raises thousands for Royal Preston's neurological research



0 Have your say A rugby player who has been supported by the neurological team at Royal Preston Hospital has raised £23,000 for its neuroscience fund.
Abbeytown player Mark Beverley, was on the pitch when he suffered a brain seizure during a rugby tackle and was airlifted to the Fulwood hospital last August.
The neurological team discovered he had a brain tumour, and after an operation in October, he is now on the road to recovery.
