Retired councillor Gladys Kell showed off her royal credentials when she dressed as the Queen to celebrate the monarch’s 90th birthday.
Gladys entertained members of the Cleckheaton Central Day Centre when she donned her Elizabeth II-themed costume during a party which took guests back to the 1920s.
Staff from Tesco in Batley gave the pensioners a helping hand by decorating the day centre in the colours of the Union flag and providing ingredients for the chef to cook a special lunch.
