Row goes on as 'troubled' former pub submits licence bid - again

A troubled former pub in Wolverhampton which was the site of repeated criminal activity has re-submitted a request for a new premises licence - just months after withdrawing a previous application.
The controversial Harp Inn, in Walsall Street, Eastfield, withdrew a previous application after months of opposition from local residents and campaigners.
In recent years the pub has been forced to close down several times following incidents of violence and nuisance behaviour. It had then reopened under the name 'The Mississauga' before finally closing again.
