'Riot van, police cars and drones' sent to potential fracking site



Police have been accused of over-resourcing at a potential fracking site where protesters have demonstrated there in the past.
According to a post on social media, Nottinghamshire Police reportedly sent a riot van, two support vans, police cars and drone operators as lorries entered the site on Springs Road near Misson, currently owned by IGas.
The post sent to the Retford Times attributed the presence of more than 20 officers to a recent interim injunction that has been granted by the High Court.
