Restaurant 'threw father out for being too sick to eat'

Tom Wardle was spending a day with loved ones after ten months in hospital and 15 operations, including having his stomach removed.
But the 52-year-old, who has a feeding tube, said he was denied a seat at the Buffet King Chinese restaurant when he tried to treat his wife, Carol, daughter Varna, ten, and a friend to a meal.
He said: ‘I was so embarrassed and flabbergasted, I walked away and told my family to have a meal without me. I just thought it was shameful behaviour.’
