RAF reveal why typhoon jets were flying over Hull

The RAF have confirmed the loud noise heard over Hull on Tuesday morning was actually down to air defence training.
It said, each year, the RAF and invited allies complete air defence training during an exercise called Cobra Warrior.
This involves aircraft flying over a wide area of the North Sea and some overland areas. On this occasion, it included Yorkshire and and North Lincolnshire.
The typhoon jet passed continuously over the skies of Hull between 10am and 10.45am, with the deafening sound being heard across the region.
