Prisoner masterminded £30,000 cocaine deal from behind bars
 

A prisoner serving a 14-year sentence for drug dealing managed to keep up his criminal career behind bars as he arranged a £30,000 cocaine deal.
Domenico Masciopinto, 38, was already serving time at HMP the Mount when he used a smuggled mobile phone to contact associates in the outside world.
It showed a ‘shocking lack of remorse for his previous crime,’ police said.
He admitted his role in the deal and had an extra seven years added to his sentence at Luton Crown Court.
Daniel Digiacomo, 27, from Bedford, and Jason West, 35, from Luton, both admitted conspiracy to supply cocaine.
