Poundland's shockingly realistic knife on sale to kids for Halloween
 

A REALISTIC fake knife on sale at Poundland has been slammed by a charity which deals with the fallout of knife crime.
The toy – which glows in the dark – is on sale as part of the £1 store’s Hallowe’en range.
The chief executive of Merseyside charity Mentors Achieve Learn Support (MALS), which works in prisons and schools to raise awareness of knife crime, says the store is “promoting the use of knives”.
But Poundland insists the plastic toy is harming no-one.
