Last Christmas the Hill family experienced an unimaginable horror when they discovered their son dead in bed.
Sheena and Colin Hill were planning a family Christmas when last year they found 24-year-old Dean dead on Christmas Eve and now the pair are hoping to raise awareness of the condition that struck him down.
Dean, a passionate St John’s Ambulance volunteer, from Washington in Sunderland, died suddenly after being diagnosed with myocarditis.
