Parents who fled with child to Ireland in the night ordered to bring baby back to Lincolnshire



Parents who feared their baby would be taken away from them by social workers fled to Ireland with her in the middle of the night.
Doctors accused the mother of “fabricating” medical symptoms, such as “vomiting blood on an almost daily basis” and social workers got involved.
However, petrified they were set to lose their baby, the couple made a run for it “covertly” leaving the country during the night.
The child, who is less than a year old, had been living with her grandmother after an interim care order was made – but she awoke one morning to find the child had gone.
