Olympian adopts puppy after rescuing 90 from being eaten in South Korea dog meat trade
 

Mr Kenworthy, 26, who competed as a freestyle skier for Team USA, visited the farm with Humane Society International (HSI), describing the scenes as “heart wrenching”.
Selling or serving dog meat is considered a legal grey area in South Korea. Officially, the act is frowned upon but photo which emerged before the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, which came to a close yesterday, reveal the consumption of dogs is still tolerated due to huge public demand.
Mr Kenworthy and his boyfriend Matt Wilkas witnessed “malnourished and physically abused” dogs crammed into tiny cages.
