No 10 cautious over linking Russia to use of nerve agent against ex-spy



The government has reacted cautiously to news that a nerve agent was involved in the Salisbury incident, with Amber Rudd, the home secretary, insisting the police must be, “given the space they need to continue establishing the full facts”.
But the government will come under intense pressure to hit back diplomatically if Russian involvement in the apparent poisoning of the former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, is proven.
