Nightmare Alvaston neighbour 'put glass down to hurt cats' and 'locked another in his cellar'

A 66-year-old Derby man told his neighbour “every time I see you I am disappointed to see you alive” during a series of disputes in his Alvaston street.
A court was also told how Robert Preston swore at his victim and told her “I hope you have a crash” knowing she has been involved in two serious road accidents in recent years.
In a victim impact statement she also claims he locked her cat in his cellar and then put glass outside his house in a bid to injure it.
She also said she and her partner have paid almost £1,000 to install CCTV due to the abuse Preston has inflicted on them.
