NHS shrink on fraud rap 'took control in bid to inherit widow's £1.3 million fortune'
 

An NHS psychiatrist took control of an elderly widow's finances so that she could inherit the bulk of her £1.3million estate, a court heard.
Dr Zholia Alemi is accused of abusing her position of trust after being asked to assess the 84-year-old's mental capacity.
She denied three counts of fraud and two theft when she appeared in the dock at the start of a trial , which is expected to last two weeks.
