New Grimsby general election poll shows astonishingly close race between Labour and Conservatives

Grimsby is set for the tightest of general election races on Thursday with just one percentage point separating the Tories from Labour, according to a new poll.
YouGov's final MRP poll, has predicted that the Tories will win Great Grimsby, taking 42 per cent of the vote compared with 41 per cent for Labour’s Melanie Onn.
It would mean Tory candidate Lia Nici becoming the first Conservative MP in the town for 74-years. However, the poll also shows Ms Onn closing the gap from another MRP poll two weeks ago which placed her five points behind the Tories.
