Ness Gate shelter receives a makeover
 

0 Have your say Repair work on Ness Gate shelter, a popular spot near Berwick’s town walls, has been completed by Northumberland County Council.
The matter of disrepair was raised by Cllr Alex Gibson of Berwick Town Council, citing a derelict roof, peeling paint work, graffiti and vandalism.
The shelter is a feature of the Lowry trail that runs through the town. It allows visitors to experience some of the hidden gems of the town, which the artist discovered on his many holidays in Berwick.
