Nasa finds Mars explorer robot that was lost in cataclysmic Martian death storm
 

Nasa has finally spotted a Mars Rover robot which was lost after it was hit by a gigantic Martian dust storm which enveloped most of the Red Planet’s surface.
A spacecraft around Mars has sent back a photo of Opportunity, which has been silent ever since the tempest erupted in late springtime. The rover appears in the photo as a pale dot.
The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter took the picture last week from 166 miles above the Martian surface.
The epic dust storm prevented sunlight from reaching Opportunity’s solar panels, which meant it fell silent in June.
