Murder charge after death of Cumbrian man
 

A man has been charged with murder following the death of 31-year-old Andrew Hackett.
Paramedics and police attended Gloucester Street, in Barrow at about 7am on Sunday.
Mr Hackett was taken from the scene by ambulance to hospital but later died.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene, initially on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and later arrested on suspicion of murder.
A second man aged 39 was also detained in relation to this incident after being located in the Salthouse Mills area of Barrow. He was taken away by ambulance having suffered a suspected drugs overdose.
