Multi-millionaire Tory MSP to lead Scottish fishing inquiry despite owning £8.3m angling business
 

A Tory MSP has agreed to lead an inquiry into Scotland’s salmon farming industry despite owning one
of the country’s most valuable river fisheries.
Edward Mountain is chairing the probe as convenor of the Scottish Parliament’s rural economy committee.
But the multi-millioniare landowner has been accused of a massive conflict of interest as a result of his £8.3million Delfur Fishings business on the Spey.
Wild salmon fishermen are opposed to fish farms, claiming they pollute rivers with sea lice and reduce wild populations.
