Met Office places Cumbria on alert for more snow and ice

A yellow alert has been put in place from 6am tomorrow (20) for 12 hours.
A previous warning ended at 11am today.
The forecaster says an area of snow is likely to move across many central and northern parts of the UK tomorrow, although Barrow and Furness could miss out on the worst of the conditions.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "The snow is more likely to affect higher routes with lower levels only affected more locally.
"In addition, rain may fall onto frozen surfaces for a time, particularly across Scotland, following a very cold night.
