Men in high-speed chase ditch car in Bransholme field - but are then caught by police in odd places

A man who stayed out of trouble for seven years was caught by police hiding by wheelie bins trying to flee from a stolen car.
Andrew Shann, 40, had 82 previous convictions on his record, including 39 for dishonesty, but had not troubled the courts since November 2010, when he was jailed for ten weeks for burglary.
But he was chased by police after being spotted with another man in a stolen Vauxhall Mokka as it passed through the A165 in Long Riston in the early hours of April 16 last year, Hull Crown Court heard.
