Man cut free after two lorries collide on busy road

A man has been taken to hospital after two Lorries were in collision on a busy road near the Belfry Hotel.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene between Lichfield Road and London Road, in Middleton, just before 3am this morning (Thursday, December 14).
Two HGVs had collided with one of them coming to rest against a tree.
One man, who had become trapped, was taken to Good Hope Hospital as a precaution after being cut free by firefighters.
